2014 Reunion News:

In the last 50 years since high school, I have worked for and worked as the following:

In '69 had fun being a radio DJ in Montana.

From 1969-72 taught U.S. history and government at Colville High School----coaching freshman basketball, junior-varsity football and varsity track.

In 1972 started Wheel Sport Bicycle and Canoe Shop in Spokane and sold it in '86.

Through the years, I've kept busy managing a variety of commercial buildings in Spokane and Coeur d'Alene.

For the last 28 plus years, I've enjoyed the classic car business. It's taken me to numerous cities for shows and auctions, and along the way, I've met an eclectic group of people--some of whom have become life-long friends. My business location is in Coeur d'Alene.

Retire(?)--probable not. Gloria expects that will never happen (!)--maybe in 10 years?

20 Year Reunion 1984

Occupation: Owner and manager of a retail bicycle and canoe shop.
Spouse's Occupation: Co-owner and manager of Wheel Sport Bicycle and Canoe shop.
I run a retail business in Spokane WA, dealing with bicycles, canoes, kayaks and Nordic skis. Sometimes I wonder why I left teaching (?)! This daily insanity is sometimes too crazy. I've had the opportunity to design and manufacture a line of fiberglass and royalex canoes called 'Northwoods'.

I attended UofI for 2 years then transferred to Oregon College of Education in OR. Gloria Nelson and I were married the summer of 1968. In 1969 I graduated from OCE moved to Colville WA where I taught high school for 3 years. Presently, I own and operate Wheel Sport Bicycle Shop in Spokane WA.
