2017 Update: Finally sold our bee business and built a new home in our cherry orchard. UGH! Major highlights of the last 10 years: Four terrific kids. 20 Year Reunion 1984 Spouse's Name: EricCurrent residence: Yakima WA Occupation: Teacher Spouse's Occupation: Pilot, farmer Family: Carin 12, Erika 10; Jennie 7; Wendy 5. We are presently living in Yakima on a 30 acre orchard. I am a part-time instructor at Yakima Valley Community College in the Family Life Dept. Besides keeping me busy with cherries, pears, peaches and apples, we have 400 hives of bees we use for pollination and honey production. My husband is a pilot stationed at McCord AFB Tacoma flying a C141. We spent 2 years in Guam which was quire enjoyable. During that time, I taught first grade. We are looking forward to retirement in 3 years-retirement to only 30 acres and 400+ honey bees. Since summer is an extremely busy time at our house, we will not be attending. I attended college at LCSC for one year and then transferred to Central WA State College for another year and a half where I met my husband. Upon his graduation we left for Duluth MI for our first AF assignment. From there we went to Sacramento CA for Navigator Training for 18 months and then on to Fairchild AFB outside of Spokane for another 2 years. While there I was able to complete my degree at EWSC. We then departed for Laredo TX for a year of Pilot Training, Our first child was born there and we then packed our belongings and trekked back to WA to McCord AFB where Eric is flying C141's. I keep busy chasing the girls, teaching Lamaze classes and taking Tolle Painting. |
