2014 Reunion News:

In the last 50 years since high school, I have worked for and worked as the following:

Social Worker: Milwaukee County Mental Health, Lutheran Social Services, private practice Volunteer/Board Member: Washington State Adoption Council, Seattle Chapter of RESOLVE, Orcas Island Center for the Arts, Olga Strawberry Council, Seattle Children's Orthopedic Hospital

I did retire in 1997 and now keep busy doing art classes, reading, traveling, commuting between Seattle and Orcas Island, caring for elderly mother-in-law.

Wedding Update February 2010

Tom and I split our time between Seattle and Orcas Island, where we've had a second home for 20+ years. I'm off to China next month - visiting brother Fritz, who lives in Hong Kong, and then to the mainland. Didn't make the reunion because of Alice's wedding.

2004 Reunion News:

Past highlights: Trip to Amsterdam (!), new home in Seattle, having both daughters nearby and happy, enjoying a "mini-reunion" on Orcas Island with Barbara, Cindy, Mary Gin, Billie Jo and Cheryl.

Future Plans: More travel, art classes, getting in shape for old age.

Plans or goals for the next 10 years: Survive menopause and adolescence and Tom's likely mid-life crisis! (then maybe retire to Orcas Island)
Major highlights of the last 10 years: Established RESOLVE of Washington State Adoption Council; travel to Europe for a month with the children. Established a successful private practice; consistently enjoyed my children and participating in the active lives.

Attended Pomona College in Claremont CA and straight on to Graduate School of Social Work at UofW in Seattle. During undergraduate years, worked and traveled in Australia. Following Grad School, worked in Milwaukee WI for 3 years as psychiatric social worker. Hit the road for 1 year traveling extensively throughout Europe and "resign" on Crete, then "settled down" and married Tom Evans-worked for a few years more as a psychotherapist, now raising the kids. Hope to travel again with the family when they're old enough.

Received a BA in Psychology from Pomona College, Claremont CA. Spent 6 months in Australia traveling and working in Child Psychiatric Center. Received Masters degree from graduate school of social work, UofWA. Employed by Milwaukee County Mental Health Clinic. Have been traveling for the last 9 months throughout Europe, lived on the Greek Island of Crete for awhile, and most recently visited Jamaica.
