2014 Reunion News: Daughter Shelley--married to David Petzold, lives in Middleton, WI; has three children--Rachel, 13; Paul, 10; Eli, 7. She is a teacher.

Daughter Cindy--married to Jack Truitt, lives in Denton, Texas. Works at Denton State home as a psychology tech. No children.

Son Jeremy--died in 1999. Never married. Served in Army 6 years.

Was ordained a permanent deacon in Catholic Church in March, 1996. Retired and sold my specialty advertising business in 2006. To keep from getting bored, I have worked at several part-time jobs such as building a house, drove for city bus system, bought some rental houses, worked for the church. While working for the church, I worked as a chaplain at hospice and the hospital. Currently I am working at a funeral home part-time and managing a couple of rentals. I have slowed down a lot now that my wife has retired from teaching. Now we have time to do some traveling, and some projects that have been put on hold for quite some time.

Plans or goals for the next 10 years: Become a permanent deacon in the Catholic Church. I am in my third year of studies for a masters degree in theology.
Major highlights of the last 10 years: Finally got my specialty advertising business going and doing well. I also own a janitorial service, I sold my real estate business. Cindy is married and still in school at UofI and Shelley is teaching school in Wisconsin, Jeremy is in the Army in Germany.

Graduated from UofI 1969. Worked at JC Penny Co 10 years. Owned 2 real estate offices 5 years. Currently sales manager for the only statewide career approved business in Wyoming. Have been very active in Catholic Church activities and Elks. Currently school board president for local Catholic grade school and Jr high.

I attended the UofI for 5 years graduating with a BS in Business Admin and accumulating enough credits for a minor in Political Science, Economics, and English. Since graduation, I have worked for JC Penny Co in Lewiston and Pocatello ID and Rock Springs WY where I am presently . I am assist Mgr of a very small store here. We are planning to build a new store within 2 years. My profession is very exciting and I love retailing. I have at different times been a buyer of all soft lines, home furnishings, toys, patio shop, and some carpeting. I was married in my junior year of college to Becky Brandon also attending the UofI. She is from Melba ID. She has a secondary teaching degree in Home Ec and Spanish Ed. She is presently substitute teacher in both the High School and Grade Schools here.
