2014 Reunion News:

In the last 50 years since high school, I have worked for and worked as the following:

Dixie and I got married just after I returned from a church mission to the New England States. After graduating from Ricks College we moved to Eugene Oregon and started our family. I graduated from the University of Oregon and went directly into Uncle Sams Army as a 2nd Lieutenant.

After a short training experience in Ft Bliss, Texas we moved to Winchester, Idaho where I started working as a Park Manager at Winchester State Park. I left the parks department to sell real estate here in Lewiston. I bought a sign and engraving business and started a career engraving and making signs. After 30 years we've turned the business over to the kids. Our son, Mike and daughter Jill, run Northwest Engraving Service and our son, Peter, owns and manages Precision Signs.

Now that I'm out of those two ventures I've started rehabbing houses here in town. This has kept me fairly busy while enjoying retirement.

I did officially retire in 2011; I'm sure as with many of us, when we retire and get involved in the things we've been putting off we begin to wonder how we ever had time to go to work. I'm experiencing a little of that myself. Fixing up older homes and either renting or selling them has been rewarding but very time consuming. We also bought a large older home and a couple of acres in North Lewiston that has required lots of TLC. But Dixie and I really like having the Grand kids come and enjoy the cows, chickens and garden. We also continue to be active in the LDS Church doing lots of volunteer work there. We are most grateful for the continued blessing of good health that allows us to stay busy and involved.

Update March 2010:

Since the 40-year reunion news, Early Retire from Northwest Engraving Service (Turned it over to the Kids), Sold the Sign Business too (Precision Signs). I am so busy how did I ever have time to go to work? Dixie and I are up to 15 Grand Kids. Life has been real good to me. Still healthy, happy and enjoying it more all the time.

2004 Reunion News:

Past highlights: "Empty nest", business expansion, 6 grandkids, 3 marriages, 3 kids moved back home; Life's been real good!

Future Plans: Stay healthy, turn the business over to the kids. Travel, downsize a bit; two marriages and more grandchildren. (Dixie wants you to know that all of these marriages are the children's. She is still stuck with "him".)
