![]() May 7, 1889 Lewiston Morning Tribune Irene G. Finnell, 43, formerly of area KENT, Wash.--Irene G. Finnell, 43, of Kent, a former resident of Lewiston and Cul-de-sac, died Sunday morning at her home of an epileptic seizure. She was born Nov. 22, 1945, to Dell and Maxine Halsey at Yakima, where she lived until 1959. She then moved to Lewiston and graduated form Lewiston High School in 1964. She also attended Lewis Clark State College for a year and graduated from nurse's training at Kent in 1969. In June 1964 she married Mel Finnell at Lewiston. They later divorced. Finnell lived at Cul-de-sac from 1964 to 1972, when she moved to Sunnyside, Wash. About eight years later she moved to Kent and was employed as a secretary for Washington Memorial Park and Mortuary at Seattle. Survivors include two sons, Del Finnell of Kent and Dale Finnell of Tucson, AZ; her mother, Maxine Halsey of Lewiston; and a sister, Joanne Diegel of Salt Lake City, Utah. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Malcom's Brower-Wann Memorial Chapel at Lewiston with the Rev. Paul Barber of the First Church of the Nazarene at Lewiston officiating. Burial will follow at Normal Hill Cemetery at Lewiston. Malcom's Brower-Wann Memorial Chapel is in charge or the arrangements. |
