2019 Reunion News:

Retired in May 2017, after 49 years in the meat packing industry. Added motorhome & travel to my activities but still run about 15 miles a week, boat, water ski, motorcycle, and lead a 350 member running/walking group based in Twin Falls. Still have links to Lewiston with family & friends plus plan to spend more time at our family cabin on Twin Lakes near Rathdrum.

2014 Reunion News:

In the last 50 years since high school, I have worked for and worked as the following:

-- 1965 - 68 - PFI summers, U of I Livestock Farm during school year.
-- 1968 - 1996 - Worked for Armour Food Co. in Spokane (twice), Kennewick, West Yellowstone, Boise, Phoenix, Az., and Portland (twice) as Sales Rep., Product Mgr., Corporate Mgr. Production Scheduling and Inventory Control, and finally, Operations Mgr. of the Portland Plant. I spent 24 of those 28 years in Portland. -- Armour closed the Portland Processed Meat Plant in 1996.
-- 1996 - 97 - Plant Superintendent, Fletcher Foods, Portland.
-- 1997 - Present - Processed Meat Mgr., Independent Meat Co., Twin Falls, Id.

Retirement/Interests:

Still working, plan to retire in 2015 or 2016.

I run a lot as founder and leader of a 270 member running/walking group in Southern Idaho. Other activities include motorcycling, boating, water skiing, running races, and being a fan of all sports and motorsports - especially NASCAR. Crystal and I spend most of our vacations at our family cabin on Twin Lakes near Rathdrum and motorcycling the west. We hope to buy a motor home and travel more when we retire.

2009 Reunion News:

Past highlights: Returned to work in Idaho for Independent Meat Company in Twin Falls after 29 years out of state with Armour in Washington, Oregon, and Arizona.

Future Plans: Stay young and in shape by running, water skiing, motorcycling and working. No retirement planned for next 5 years.

2009 Reunion Updates: Son Josh Greene born in 1978, lives in Vancouver, WA. He is married to Devin and has 2 children ages 7 and 2. He sells for Ron Tonkin Acura, the largest Acura dealer in America. (We just bought a 2009 demo from him.)

Spouse Crystal from Jerome has one daughter Erin, an Ex-Jerome County rodeo queen. Erin is married to her high school sweetheart and has 2 children ages 9 and 4. She lives in Buhl, ID and they own a 105-head elk farm. Crystal and I got married in 2004 shortly after the 40th reunion. Crystal manages the Wells Fargo Bank in Jerome.

I still run and Crystal still walks competitively. Motorcycling and boating are our passions. Our family has a summer home near Rathdum so we hope to retire in northern Idaho closer to the lakes.

We rode to the 45th reunion on part of a 1000 mile loop with our Twin Falls motorcycle group.

2004 Reunion News:

Past highlights: Returned to work in Idaho for Independent Meat Company in Twin Falls after 29 years out of state with Armour in Washington, Oregon, and Arizona. Participated in Senior Games of Magic Valley placing 2 firsts, a second, and 2 fourths in running events from 100 meters to 1500 meters.

Future Plans: Stay young and in shape by running, water skiing, and working. No retirement planned for next 10 years.

Plans or goals for the next 10 years: Stay young and happily married, play over 50 softball, continue slalom skiing and running.
Major highlights of the last 10 years: Met Juliann, participated in men's 40 and over national slow pitch softball tournament, ran and finished the Portland Marathon.
