Dave..20142014 Reunion News:

In the last 50 years since high school, I have worked and worked at the following: Several seasonal and part-time jobs after high school supported costs for attending Lewis Clark State College. Jobs with Seabrook Farms, Potlatch Forests, the Camas Prairie Railroad, State Hospital North, and a few years as a member of a band playing songs like "Louie- Louie" at dances for high school and college students all contributed my financial support. Our band's performance did not prove to rival The Kingsmen or Paul Revere and the Raiders, but was enjoyable and supported graduation from LCSC in 1968. A move to California came that fall after signing a contract to teach science and math for a district in East Los Angeles. Teaching math, science, and later special education, kept me occupied, challenged, and happy. Wrestling a 357 mag pistol away from a middle school student at school in the spring of 1975 helped me decide to return to Idaho to live and seek employment. My next job from 1976-1982 was a consulting position with the Idaho Department of Education and University of Idaho in support Idaho School District's implementation of special education and related services. In 1982 I accepted a new job as Director of Southlake Special Services, a public entity which provided special education and related services to 5 rural school districts around the southern tip of Lake Coeur d' Alene, located in St.Maries. I served in that capacity until 1992 when hired by St. Maries School District to serve as Superintendent of Schools and retired from that position in July, 2011.

Since retiring I have maintained and enjoyed some volunteer work as a member of the local hospital board as well as involvement with other community activities. My wife Sharon and I enjoy outdoor and indoor activities with friends and family as well as some traveling, especially in the northwest. I enjoy cooking and if we knew spoiling a grandchild was so much fun, would have started earlier planning and hoping for more grandchildren. Over the years, I've been fortunate to have great family and friends as well as good work and life experiences. We're hoping to continue with more adventures on the road to spreading and sharing positive and happy times.
