2014 Reunion News:

In the last 50 years since high school, I have worked for and worked as the following:

I have worked at a nursing home in Clarkston, also a nursing home in Salem, Oregon; worked as a secretary at the Corrections Division in Salem, Oregon; for an insurance company in Bellevue, Washington; as a secretary/clerk for the Office of Naval Research on University of Washington campus in Seattle, Washington; drove school bus for the school district in Bothell, Washington area (Northshore School District I think it was called); thankfully back to an office job for the Union Pacific Railroad in Seattle; bookkeeper/receptionist at a law firm in Kalispell, Montana; same work at a law firm in Helena, Montana; became self-employed in 2005 as a bookkeeper and house/pet sitting - still do both of those.

I am still working but expect to retire in 2016. I also keep busy with some volunteer work; my real highlight is getting to have grandkids one or two days a week!!! I have a group of friends I have breakfast with every Thursday morning at 6:30 - we have been meeting for over 25 years.

Marcie (47) married to Dale; 2 children, (my grands) Briana (19 - going to college) and Julia (14) Les (45) married to Christy; 4 children (my grands) Shelby (12), Josh (10), Colby (8) and Sydney (2); 4 step-children: Scott (Nancy), Larry, Terri (Joel) and Lora; grands: Garrett, Lacey, Brittany, Katie and Alex They live in Massachusetts, Wisconsin, Missouri, Marcie's family lives in Washington and Les and family live here in Helena.

Moved to Helena in 1984 (so missed the 20 year reunion that summer); moved to East Helena in 1987; have attended Hannaford Street Bible Church since 1985.

My husband is retired from the Post Office. He keeps our yard in good shape and our cars and continues to put up with me after a grueling 40+ years! He tries to stay out of trouble with me but, like I say to him, "I didn't say you did it! I said I am blaming you!!"

I have been self-employed since Aug 2005. Who would have thought I could manage without that 9 to 5, Monday thru Friday job??!! I do bookkeeping; house/pet sitting; nursery scheduling, caregiver for 93 yr old lady, etc, etc; the flexible schedule allows me the wonderful opportunity to have my grandkids who live here on Tuesdays and the "big girl" (2) on Thursdays. Such a joy.

I love to ride horses but rarely get a chance to do so - while Bill was out of town and my kids were gone for the weekend I called a local place I had been seeing that advertised horseback riding to see about a ride - that was available the next evening; had a great time and will do it again if I get enought house/pet sitting jobs!

Sure hope to attend the 50 year class reunion!

Update 8-28-2009:

I have 10 grandchildren; 3 live close by; 2 live 450 miles away and I drive there to visit often. I have been married 36 yrs. I love to drive; love to travel by air when I can afford to. I play the piano and sing a little (old gospel songs)
