Bengal Cinder Crew Has New Track Mentor

This year's cinder crew will be under the supervision of a new track coach, Mr. Art Oliver. Mr. Oliver, who will succeed Mr. Bob Krueger, says he "enjoys Lewiston very much and is anxious to get this year's track season underway." Although having no past experience with the Bengals, Mr. Oliver praised the boys for their pre-season enthusiasm.

Mr. Oliver attended high school at Crookston, Minn., where he participated in track events. Upon graduation, he enrolled at Mayville State College, North Dakota, and majored in physical education and math. While attending Mayville, Mr. Oliver extended his talents by running the 440 yard dash and both the high and low hurdles.

Shortly after graduation he came to Lewiston where he is presently instructing mathematics. Mr. Oliver and his wife, Bonnie, who have been married only three months, are looking forward to their new home.
