Sandi and Lee 20092014 Reunion News: Lee and I have spent our total 43 years of married life living in Anchorage, Alaska.

We have no plans to move away, just keep taking trips to Idaho and Washington to connect with family.

I have worked off and on as an RN for 47 years, working in the field of physical and intellectual disabilities most recently for the past 23 years. I do see retirement in my near future plans, and we are eager to slow down together.

We have been blessed to see our 2 children and 3 grown grandchildren all graduate from high school, all working productively, liking their jobs.

Two of the older grandchildren, who have lived in Alaska all their lives, are attending college in Alaska and California.

Our youngest grandchild who lived in California all his life, is making plans to work in Alaska before beginning his college career. Life is good. Hope we live to see more of it!

Sandi and Lee 2009Update Aug 25, 2009

Lee is retired and we are both well and happy. I work as Health Services Nursing Supervisor and Community health Nurse at same employer past 18 plus years (Hope Community Services) in Anchorage, Alaska. We have been married 38 years (39 in Feb of 2010) and are happy to be visiting our parents again this year who are 95, 89 and 83! Oh, to be as positive, respectful, non-fearing, and tenacious at their ages.

The picture below is of our grandsons Josh and Aidan, our daughter Kimberly, granddaughter Morgan, and our daughter Deborah, together in Anchorage in cold and snowy February of 2007. Next picture is Grandma Sandi (Sandi Sheneman Manfred), sharing icecream with her 3 grandchildren. We are so proud of our daughters and our wonderful and talented teenaged grand children.

2004 Reunion News:

Past highlights: We continue to visit family in Idaho and Washington in August and September every year. This Christmas our daughters and our grandchildren, aged 8, 9, and 10 spent the time together in Anchorage. We attended the 90th birthday of my mother-in-law in Spokane in January of 2004 and hope to stay as active and feisty as she is.

Future Plans: More of the same, God willing. I continue to work as a Certified Developmental Disabilities RN and plan to continue working because I love the work I do. I received the Extraordinary /Contribution Award in 2004 for building community for all.
