2014 Reunion News: I attended graduate school and worked on multiple year fisheries projects in Zambia, Tanzania and Columbia between 1969 and 1982. Beginning in 1983 I worked as a fisheries biologist and fisheries manager in Lewiston, McCall, Boise and Pocatello. In 2008, I retired in Pocatello after 17 years as the Southeast Region Fisheries Manager. My wife, Susan and I then moved to Lewiston, where she became the principal at Lewiston's alternative high school. Since retiring, I have done more than my share of salmon and steelhead fishing and a variety of hunting. Since 2009, I have been working part time on two committees for the Pacific Fisheries Management Council. We have written an Ecosystem Fisheries Management Plan for the Pacific Coast states and Idaho (because of the salmon and steelhead connection), and since 2012 I have been a member of the Council's Salmon Advisory Subpanel. Susan Retired last year, and since then she has traveled with me to PFMC meetings and we have done quite a bit of personal traveling. Life is good!

2009 Reunion News: I retired from a Idaho Fish and Game manager job in Pocatello in 2008. Later that year Sue and I moved to Lewiston. Sue is principal at Tammany Alternative High School. My full time job is fishing. I am enjoying the good runs of salmon and steelhead in the local rivers. Life is good.
