With great sadness, we announce that Billie Jo (Rosenkrantz) Flerchinger passed away peacefully on Friday, June 25, 2021, at the age of 75 in Tacoma, WA after a long struggle with dementia and various medical conditions. There are no plans at present for a memorial service.

Thanks to Mary Gin Kennedy to alerting our classmates to this unpleasant news. Do let us know if there are other events, good if possible or bad, that others may be interested in hearing about.

2014 Reunion News:

In the last 50 years since high school, I have worked for and worked as the following:

Educational Director for Seattle Rape Crisis Center, wrote several books for kids, Won an Emmy for 5-part series on PBS-WTTW Seattle, Next sold Seattle as a primary city to sell authors, it worked No. 3-5 every year.

I am retired. I had a surgery go bad. Several surgeries later and 2 to go, I'm better every day.

I have been fortunate to travel! My girls and grandkids are the light of my life.

2004 Reunion News:

Past highlights: Sold my business, sold my home and moved to the land of the sun-Arizona. Also purchased a beach condo in Gig Harbor, WA so I could be close to my family. I adore being a grandma to my 3 grandchildren and my partner Jerome's 4 grandchildren.

Future Plans: More of the same.

My first loves are wife and mother. My pride and satisfaction is teaching African dance and drum in the Kent school district after classes and workshops in African culture. I have also enjoyed directing musical plays in the grade schools. I am a Brownie leader and room mother. To keep my sanity, my hobbies are ceramics, pottery and plants.
