2014 Reunion News:

After retirement from the mortgage Industry, Wells Fargo, on August 9th, 2010 at 11:12, you know 8/9/10, I spent a wealth of time at home. I guess after 41+ years of arguing with underwriters, it took a long, long time to de-stress. I have never been able to understand how someone can read the manuals, but not understand the meaning or purpose. Oh well, that is now history.

Lynda retired on 1/3/14 and we started looking for properties back in Lewiston, Clarkston, or Asotin. Nothing was comparable with what we would be leaving, so it was a difficult process. Additionally in 45 years of married life, we had never moved from one house into an existing home. We always had either a new home or one we had built! Why change a good thing? Well we "kinda" did. I managed to contact the owner of the home, here in Lewiston, that we had built two years before the move to Richland. Yes, they were interested in selling as he had died several years prior, and his wife was in assisted living. So we broke tradition and bought an existing home. We knew the "bones" were sound, but to date we have completely redone the interior. All that is still to be changed are the counters. The exterior is still original paint that I did in 1994, and will get redone once the weather moderates some. The view we had of Waha, Tammany and the Blue Mountains are back after I cut and hauled 9 trees to the landfill. Still lots more to be done outside, but am always up for another project. Keeps the muscles sore and the spirit young. I hope after this project is classified as finished, Lynda and I have always wanted to see the Eastern States in the early fall. Great Smokey Mountains in full bloom sounds awesome. Maybe we can make that happen? 2014 or 2015? I am looking forward to some time away from remodeling and again seeing classmates at this reunion.

2004 Reunion News:

Past highlights: Finally, seeing both son and daughter happily married and successful. Having 5 grandchildren. Traveling to Puerto Rico, St. Marteens and St. Thomas. Also vacationing at the Moon Palace in Cancun and then traveling to Cozumel.

Future Plans: To keep celebrating birthdays and look forward to more reunions. Also, try to figure out how to slow down TIME! Be a good friend and make more friends. Get out of the rat race, there is no way to beat those rats.

Attended UofI, graduated from LCSC with a Liberal Arts degree. Worked for the State of Idaho Dept of Highway for 1½ years after graduation. In 1973 I started work as a management trainee for First Federal Savings and Loan. As of May 1, I was transferred to their Moscow branch. We are building a home and will be moving in the near future.
