2014 Reunion News: No input 2004 Reunion News: Past highlights: I teach middle school in an alternative school. I work with students that have crushed family lives, drug problems or are on drugs or in gangs. I use my Master's in counseling every day, and use the rest of my degrees to help the students gain the academic information where their circumstances have left a "deep learning hole". Plans or goals for the next 10 years: Get my doctorate in education administration, have more grandchildren and travel. Major highlights of the last 10 years: We have completely changed our lives since we lost our family farm eight years ago. I have received my BA, MA and am about to receive my 6th year specialist degree with only a few credits to go for my doctorate.

We no longer milk cows but not row crop. This year we are farming 215 acres. We take in foster children (boy with glasses in the picture) and have just opened a small ceramic shop, gift shop, and wholesale outlet behind our home. Tami is in college doing very well; Rod is a senior and is very successful in singing, playing trombone, drama and computers. Shortly after we were married, my husband, Dennis, took a job as foreman on a large row crop farm in southern Idaho. There years ago we decided to try farming on our own. We now own 120 acres and milk 75 Holstein dairy cows. Our dairy is proudly named the D and Dairy. We do enjoy country life. |
