2014 Reunion News:

In the last 50 years since high school, I have worked for and worked as the following:

My very first real job was posting checks to customer accounts at a bank in Missoula. In the late 60's I finished beauty school, got my license and decided that I was a bookkeeper. Went to work at the Lewiston Tribune in 1977 and never left. I was involved in all accounting functions during those years and they were always changing, new computer equipment and new software. Just about the time I knew exactly how a computer process could be fixed because of operator error, it was time for a totally new system. I was never bored.

I did retire in 2011 and now keep busy doing--not much.

The one person that can get me moving is my new grandson (2 yr old) who's parents finally decided to get out of the traffic and rain and move to Spokane before the birth of their first child. Last fall we spent the day watching a landscaper move giant rocks with a very large crane at the house next door. My goal is to do more of that.

2004 Reunion News:

Past highlights: Still work full time at the Tribune. We travel to the Coast to see the grandchildren or spend weekends at old car shows.

Major highlights of the last 10 years: Work and home have taken all my time and interests. Helping my sons get an education and set up their own homes has taken most of my money.

20 Year Reunion 1984

I spend most of my spare time trying to rejuvenate my old house, old furniture and my older self. I've been working at the Tribune for 6 years doing what I do best; juggling the books. On my last big exciting vacation the highlight was spending the whole day at a giant water slide until I wore all the skin off my backside. The biggest mystery and adventure lately is can those kids really put that car engine back together and will it really run? Real Exciting!!

After graduation, moved to Missoula. I worked as a Bank Bookkeeper. Retiring for birth of Darren and kept husbands books. In 1969 we returned to Lewiston and bought Mr. Nick's Beauty School. I became a student, earned my license and worked part time. Dan and I decided that there must be a better way to eat. We sold everything in Lewiston, floundered around awhile at different jobs, decided that Missoula had always been our town. We've been back here for 2 years. Danny's a good car salesman and enjoying himself. I had just gotten my baby in school and the long awaited second baby finally decided to make an appearance, so I'm at home just being mom, wife, and housekeeper.
