Duane Arthur Fraser died at his home Saturday Nov. 25, 2017.

He was born in Moscow to Lois (Fey) and Arthur E. Fraser on March 16, 1946.

He attended school in Lewiston and graduated from Lewiston High School in 1964.

He and Linda Sparks were married in Lewiston on Aug. 26, 1967. They had two children, Shannon Jean and Benjamin Arthur Fraser. Linda and Duane were later divorced.

Duane was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his two children, six grandchildren, sisters Kathleen Swinford and Elaine McLaughlin, brother David Fraser, and several nieces and nephews.

He has been cremated. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Webguy Note: Duane will be remembered by many as "Grumpy", a nickname he picked up in cub scouts long ago.

I did retire in 2010 and now keep busy doing whatever I want. I am kind of disabled, retired on Social Security in 2010. Did yard work and repair for the land lord. Lived in my travel trailer until 2013. Moved into mom and dad's house August 2013; Care taker of the house, mom and dad are in assisted living, Alzheimer and Dementia, Not good.

From high school went to farm work for about 6 months. Then went to Pierce for Jaype for another 6 months. Then to Idaho National Guard Basic Training. Went to Boeing in Seattle for 3 years where I got married to former Linda Sparks. Then back to Lewiston for 5 years, we are now back in Renton. So here we are still moving around.
