2014 Reunion News:

I have had two great husbands, a great son and two wonderful granddaughters.

I have a doctorate in naturopathy and had a practice for years. I retired from that several years ago when my husband retired.

I was in real estate in South King County and when Jay passed away, I got my WA and ID real estate licenses, but have not worked at it because of the market downturn.

I lived in South King County for many years. Jay and I moved to a horse ranch in Lewis County where we bred, raised, trained (and paid handlers to show) Arabian horses. We were quite successful. One of our national winning mares was sold and exported to Italy. It was great fun!

When Jay was preparing to retire in 1996, we moved to a small farm in Otis Orchards near Spokane. I have had a successful chicken business, unsuccessful, but funny pig raising business....3 porkers....bad idea! Bottle fed calves...that was magical....and a lot of work....and over the years have bred, raised, trained (and hired handlers to show) collies and Havanese dogs. I have English Shepherds now....and my last little Havanese, Bodie.

I do a little photography, paint large numbers of wanna-be masterpieces, lay carpet and tile, paint barns, build fences, and am in the process of planning a kitchen remodel.

And, my current joy is a 17 hand race winning thoroughbred mare who is a Seattle Slew granddaughter...a very famous race horse for those of you who don't follow racing. She is booked to be bred to a record holding race stallion in 2015 and 2016. We are going racing....at least that is the plan. The "we" is me and my son, granddaughters and my cousin....it will be a family adventure.

I have dressage boots and Zee, my mare, is dressage trained. I have done a little of it in the past, but plan to get serious about it in the future.

It has been a great 50 years since high school. I look forward to many more years and great fun and adventures.

Hello to my friends!

January 2010 Update

Jay passed away 2 years ago after a long and wonderful marriage.

I have gone back to real estate. I am licensed in WA and ID and it keeps me busy even in these slow times.

I have a 2.5 acre mini-farm in Otis Orchards near Spokane. I have summer chicks and a pumpkin patch, so some dog and horse boarding.

It is a good life.
